there is no right technique actually, it all depends on an individual's riding style.

but why wanna let go throttle at 140kmh? or at 170kmh?

if you let go, the engine provide some braking, not strong but good enough to maintain control of the bike, especially when playing corners.

Learn how to blip the throttle during downshifts bro... it really helps when you need to down shift from 6th to 3rd gear as fast as you can... Smile

Blipping the throttle to raise the rpm to match the rpm after you down shift when you are holding in the clutch before you stomp down on the gear lever bro... it's all about synchronization when you do this. Practise makes perfect... Smile

So for every gear drop the you blip the throttle and and the sound goes up and down right??

when u downshift, rpm increases as you release the clutch. if you solely left off the throttle and downshift with only clutch and downshifting, its slow as your clutch is wasting time meshing each other. Pay attention to how much rpm increase you get with each particular gear dropped and blip the throttle to that rpm prior to engaging clutch during down shift.

On high rpm(10-12k), try to avoid suddenly closing the throttle shut... do it smooth and gradual unless your attacking corners like crazy to protect your engine.
